I first came across Peter Swanson last year when the delightful Amanda in Dymocks Rundle Mall recommended his previous book to be – The Kind Worth Killing.
All the Missing Girls was a slow start but it finished with a bang! Nicolette has barely visited her home town since the mysterious disappearance of her teenage best friend over a decade ago. When she returns home to pack up and sell her family home, another young girl goes missing in circumstances mirroring the events of 10 years earlier. Nicolette must piece together the events of the first disappearance so to avoid suspicion of the latest crime.
This book was amazing! The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fu*k might not be for everyone, but I thought it was a brilliant read; the best non-fiction I’ve read in ages. Mark Manson has written the ultimate ‘anti’ self-help book that’s blunt, crass, honest and thought provoking…all at the same time.
